Leah Spivey graduated from Tulane University in 2004 with a B.A. in Latin American Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year studying in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She graduated with a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans in 2009. At Loyola, she was a member of the Public Interest Law Journal and a pro bono Student Practitioner for the Loyola Immigration Law Clinic. Prior to joining the firm and focusing exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law, she also practiced family law in various state courts in southern Louisiana. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
