Paralegals

Ms. Mendoza was born in Guatemala and has lived in the New Orleans area since 1982. She has over fifteen years of experience in the field of immigration law with an emphasis on family-based immigration matters.  She is fluent in Spanish.

Ms. Boone is a native of Louisiana and received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Louisiana State University. She recently finished coursework in the Master’s program of Latin American Studies at Tulane University in New Orleans. Jennifer speaks Spanish, and has traveled and studied throughout Latin America, particularly in the countries of Mexico and Argentina.

Ms. Dosien has a Bachelor of Science in Design from Colorado State University. After graduation, she set off for Italy, started her own company, and ran it successfully for three years. Upon returning to the U.S., she started working as a paralegal with the firm, specializing in employment-based immigration matters. She is fluent in both English and Italian.  

Dr. Guillory specializes in employment-based immigration matters, with a focus in the EB-1 and O-1 categories and in National Interest Waivers.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and her doctorate in Neurobiology from the University of Chicago.  Prior to joining Ware|Gasparian, she was a researcher with universities and institutes.  

Ms. McMellan was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, and has lived in New Orleans since 1972. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems at Loyola University in New Orleans, and her certification from the University of New Orleans Paralegal Studies program. She is fluent in Spanish, and is experienced in both employment-based and family-based immigration law.

Mr. Vasquez works primarily in the area of employment-based immigration law.  He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies.  He is fluent in Spanish, having spent considerable time in both Mexico and Argentina.
